Framework Implementation

Since the Reflective Transaction Framework was designed in the context of the TP monitor reference architecture and draws upon well-known techniques for building transactional systems, we restrict our discussion here to two important aspects of its implementation: Encina TP monitor interface and application interface. A companion paper offers many further implementation details [BP95], and a comprehensive treatment of the TP monitor reference architecture and transactional implementation techniques can be found in Gray and Reuter's text [GR93].
