I am a member of the Embedded Reasoning Area in the Intelligent Systems Laboratory.
Research Interests
I'm interested in search and its applications. My research focuses on improving the scalability and efficiency of fundamental graph search algorithms, including breadth-first search, Dijkstra's algorithm, and the A* algorithm. Since search is ubiquitous, my research goal is to apply search to areas such as planning and scheduling, model checking, and bioinformatics, among others. I'm also interested in decision-theoretic planning, user interface design, and human factors.
