Great Wall - Chinese - 9 out of 10
The best Chinese Restaurant in town. A bit not clean. They sell some Korean Chinese, Jumpo Noodle. Taste of this dish is OK but far from original ZZamPPong. They use sometimes very old scallops or some almost rotten fish in the soup. Try their Chinese Menu (written in Chinese). Try their Spicy-Crust-Coated Fish.

Food is OK but pricy and does not deserve the price

OK Chinese Place, try Twice-Cooked Pork and Lion Head. They have Korean-Chinese dish, ZzaJang Myun. It is not at all close but hungry Koreans like it.

Nice place, Lunch specials are great, a bit salty.

Krispy Kreme - Donuts 8 out of 10
When they first opened, they gave free donuts to every visitors. They no longer do. They frequently distribute buy one get one free coupons

O'Charley's - American - 6 out of 10
None of the food was delicous to me.

Penn Station - Sandwich - 9 out of 10
All the sandwiches are quite good. Try the fresh French Fries

Villa Pizza - Italian - 8 out of 10
The best place in PMU

Neon Cactus - Bar - 8 out of 10
They sell cheap liquors. They have several bars scattered across big hall. There is a dance floor where people dance. It was a fun experience for me.

Spageddies - Italian, Pasta - 9 out of 10
Have nice scallopini and carbonara. Their bread with olive oil is good. I did not enjoy their sizzlini. Overall better than Olive Garden

Olive Garden - Italian, Pasta - 8 out of 10
The only thing better than Spageddies is unlimited-salad, which to me too much vinegar

Akropolis - Greek - 7 out of 10
Overall not bad Greek restaurant but I liked Parthenon more

Asahi - Japanese - 7 out of 10
They have Taepan and sushi and they are not good at either of them

Bombay Express - Indian - 8 out of 10
OK place for lunch buffet, it closes quite frequently

Don Pablos - Mexican - 7 out of 10
When I was in Lafayette, I did not like Mexican. Part of the reason might be they don't have any good Mexican restaurant like in Phoenix. This place is quite popular but I did not like their food. Though Nacho and Salsa was OK.

El Rodeo - Mexican - 7 out of 10
Again, the dishes here did not impress me at all

Little Mexico II - Mexican - 9 out of 10
Though I did not enjoy Mexican, this place was pretty good to me. I liked their beans

House of Saigon - Vietnamese - 6 out of 10
Pho was horrible and their Chinese dish were really bad

Jane's Gourmet - Desserts and Cake - 7 out of 10
I don't know, maybe the town was too small. But this place is way too expensive, considering the quality of the cakes

King Buffet - Chinese Buffet - 6 out of 10
As always, I cannot trust Chinese buffet food at all

Lafayette Brewing Company - Beer - 8 out of 10
Local Brewing company. They have nice samples, though I don't discriminate well enough

Mancino's - Italian Grinder and Pizza - 9 out of 10
This place is surprisingly good. Try their Grinders

Mad Mushroom - Pizza - 6 out of 10
The only reason to eat here is the Cheese pizza, which costs only 4 Bucks

Monical's pizza - Pizza - 8 out of 10
They have unique thin pizzas.

Pizza hut - Pizza - 9 out of 10
In Lafayette, Pizza huts have lunch buffet. What I like about this is getting any pizza you want. I can ask Waiters about what I want and they bake for me.

KFC - Chicken - 9 out of 10
In Lafayette, KFC has lunch buffet. It is bad for my health. But I can resist considering I can have 10 chickens at $6 bucks.

Fazzoli's - Italian - 7 out of 10
When I first came to US, I really liked their free garlic bread, which these days I wouldn't eat at all. There was a legend that a student ate 10 of those bread at one time. To me, Fazzolis is cheapy not tasty place

Steak N Shake - Hamburger - 7 out of 10
Among some Korean students, there was a belief that this place is racial, meaning if you are an asian they don't serve well. Which, I don't believe. Anyhow, this is just an OK place, they freshly pan-fry steaks per order but the quality is not that good.

Papa Johns - Pizza - 10 out of 10
The pizza is better than Pizza Hut. On top of that W.Lafayette Papa John's has a lot of coupons, always. You can get large one-topping at 6 bucks from time to time. It is funny that I no longer order pizza from Papa John's because I cannot find such coupons any more

Culvers - Hamburger - 8 out of 10
I think burger here is better than McDonalds. But too far from Purdue.

Snow Bear - Frozen Custard - 8 out of 10
My wife loved their vanilla Custard. I don't know the difference between Ice Cream and Frozen Custard. From the taste, I can just tell that Frozen Custard has more fat.

Village Coffeehouse - Coffee - 7 out of 10
People hangout place. Large space with a lot of chairs. I don't know how to tell a good coffee from a bad coffee

Vienna - Coffee and Sandwich - 7 out of 10
Small place. I did not like the sandwich too much

Pot Belly - Sandwich - 8 out of 10
Worth a try. I liked their meatball sandwich. Chilly was too expensive

Tippecanoe Mall - Mall
Quite a big mall for a small town. I liked this place. They have JCPenny, Sears, Dicks, HHGreig. Kohls, etc.
