A Natural Language Application System

Length: 3 pages
Due date: Monday, 12th June, midnight
Format: whatever is easiest (plain text is fine)

Pick a natural language application system that you would like to have
and discuss its properties.  The readings from the last weeks can be
used for ideas, or if you are interested in a particular domain and
want some background reading, we can suggest some.

You should include:

- The basic goal of the system: what does it do, why would you want
  it ("because it would be fun" is a perfectly good reason), etc.

- What components you would need to make such a system.  Mainly focus
  on the natural languages software components, including what type of
  NL processing would be needed.  However, if other software or
  hardware is crucial to the application (e.g. you have to be able to
  fit the application on a cell phone or you need enough computers to
  process all the web) include some discussion of that.

- How the components interact (e.g. a system diagram)


Note that this does not have to be something completely novel.  The
idea is to think of an application that would crucially use NL
technology or be improved by it and then to figure out how to go about
including the type of NL that the application would need.
