    Here's a last-minute checklist for the HIP Workshop.

    Directions to PARC can be found at

PARC is normally a 15-minute drive from downtown Palo Alto
in the early mornings, but traffic can be, sporadically,
heavier -- so allow 20 minutes at least.

    Please follow signs to PARC's Visitor Parking lot, and
enter the building at Main Reception (not the Auditorium,
and not the Employees' entrance down the hill).

    At Reception you will be greeted, signed-in, given badges,
and escorted to the workshop venue (the "Weiser Commons",
room 2230).

    Bring a sweater!  in case the room is colder than you
are used to.

    Remember to bring cash (US currency only) to pay for
your own lunches Wed & Thu at the PARC Cafeteria.  Five to ten
dollars should be sufficient for a nice lunch.

    Allow for a few minutes of Q&A during the slot scheduled
for your talk.

    Our A/V aids will include:
	-- electronic (LCD) projector (bring your own laptop)
	-- overhead (VU-graph) projector
	-- audio plug for connecting laptop to speaker system
	-- NTSC VCR

    See you early Wednesday morning, well before 9:00 AM!
We offer continental breakfast all three mornings, 8-9 AM.

    We are excited to be hosting the *first* workshop in this
promising field.  We hope you find it stimulating and influential.
