Abstract:

How can we more intelligently make sense and take advantage of large amounts of electronic information? About a year ago, Inxight was launched to capitalize on many of the inventions that came from this campaign and other even longer running missions. Inxight’s success depends on its ability to deliver packaged answers to some of the hard problems solved at PARC and Grenoble.

Many fast-growing markets focused on extracting value from information including business intelligence, data mining, knowledge management, document repositories, online publications, and ecommerce seem to be crying out for these answers. In this talk, we will present our vision of the future of information applications in many domains and the role our products and their kind will play.
