·        Nov. 2001 - present, Senior Member of Research Staff, Embedded Collabora­tive Computing Area, PARC, working on collaborative sensor networks, with focus on pro­gramming models and software synthesis.

·        Aug. 1996 - Nov. 2001, Graduate Student Researcher, EECS, UC Berkeley, working on the Ptolemy project, contributing to actor-oriented design methodol­ogies, block-diagram syntax, abstract semantics (responsible frameworks), mixed-signal and hybrid system modeling, timed multitasking model of computation and software synthesis, and actor-oriented distributed computing.

·        Summer 2000, Research Intern at Agilent Labs, Agilent Technologies, Palo Alto, CA, working on run-time models for embedded software in measure­ment and control systems.

·        Spring 1999 and Spring 2000, Teaching Assistant and head teaching assistant, EECS, UC Berkeley, for EECS20: Structure and Interpretation of Signals and Systems.

·        Before 1996, Summer Interns at various companies in China working on embedded system, information management system, and software design.
