This website is for use by contractors participating in the DARPA NEST program
in preparing for the midterm review and demonstrations scheduled for July,
2003. Software placed on this site by the Palo Alto Research Center
NEST participants (“Software”) is being developed for demonstration purposes
only and carries no warranties, implied or otherwise, and is not sanctioned
for mission-critical applications. Use by parties not participating
in the NEST program is strictly prohibited.
Users of this website agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the
following non-disclosure agreement:
- The User may access, modify, reproduce, release, perform, display,
or disclose Software marked with government purpose rights legends only for
government purposes and shall not do so for any commercial purpose.
The User shall not release, perform, display, or disclose this Software,
without the express written permission of the contractor whose name appears
in the restrictive legend associated with each Software entry on this site,
to any person other than its subcontractors or suppliers, or prospective
subcontractors or suppliers, who require this software to prepare for the
NEST midterm review and demonstrations. The User shall require its
subcontractors or suppliers, or prospective subcontractors or suppliers,
to sign a use and non-disclosure agreement prior to disclosing or releasing
this Software to such persons. Such agreement must be consistent with
the terms of this agreement.
- The User agrees to adopt or establish operating procedures and physical
security measures designed to protect this Software from inadvertent release
or disclosure to unauthorized third parties. The User agrees particularly
not to place the Software or modifications, revisions, or derivative works
based on the Software on any open source website.
- The User accepts and agrees to abide by the rights markings and use
and liability limitations included within each Software entry appearing on
this website.
